UPCOMING EVENTS

We ask that you please RSVP for all MLH events you plan to participate in.  This will help us with food preparations, child activities, and speakers.  Thank you so much for your help in this matter!

 

As summer approaches, MLH will focus on social activities; therefore, there will be no regular meetings during the months of May or June.  However, please join us for the Calendar Photo Shoot and Emily’s Make-A-Wish departure party.  See details below:

 

MLA of SA Get Together

Date:  May 22                      Time:   6:30PM

Location:  Johnny Carinos Restaurant - 11719 Bandera Rd.

Description: Please only parents and families of those who have lost a child to a heart condition are invited to attend this outing.

 

MLH of SA Photo Shoot

Date:  May 24                      Time:   10:00AM—12:00PM

Location:  The location of the photo shoot will be announced at a later date to all of those participating.

Description: MLH of SA has been given an awesome opportunity to put a calendar together.  This calendar will later be sold to help raise money for MLH of SA.  We will have posed pictures based on themes and holidays.  If you are interested in having your heart child in the calendar, please reply to Candida Schendel by April 23rd.  The kids will be selected on a first come first serve basis.  If and when you get the information for the shoot, we will require a signed release to use your child’s picture in the calendar and any other publications MH, MLH, or MLH of SA creates.  Your info will tell you the location, time, type of clothing to bring, and any possible props you can bring to help us out.

 

Emily's Make-A-Wish Departure Party

Date:  June 22                     Time:   4:00—8:00PM

Location: The location of the departure party will be announced at a later date to all of those participating.

Description: Emily and her family will be traveling to Disney in July to honor her wish.  Make-A–Wish has suggested she have a "Departure Party"...that is where you come in.  As members of Mended Little Hearts of San Antonio you have been invited to come and celebrate her departure and her 15th birthday!  The celebration is limited so please hurry and RSVP.  Please tell us the number of people who will be helping Emily celebrate.
